What is sexual media?



Media here is any channel through which  you convey messages. It is sexual media when it's content is aimed at arising sexual desire. Sexual media here stands for the women we have today, most especially the youths. Through their dressing patterns they promote nothing than sex in our present society.

Where then is their source of information ?

They get all those mode of dressing patterns from the western media, from watching movies and other related content.  The information transmits in chains, from the western or "international " media to the indigenous ones then down to audience of the home media. The western media portrays our women as sexual objects and they become self objectified .

How do they disseminate their information?

The western media make them sexual objects and our women of today fits into that narrative. The men have nothing to thing of apart from sex when they see those nudity. When a man sees a woman he first look her face, down to the breast, her feet and when she turn around his eyes goes straight to the sensitive area at the back (buttock)
Women now package the face first, then the breast to do all sort of propaganda and persuading techniques and make sure it is well packaged, the legs and then lastly the back side in a way that will attack more audience the way conventional media does.

Who then are the audience?

Men of course are the audience of sexual media. After the usage of all the media language, men are the target to be persuaded because they are the ones at the receiving end. Because the media give them what they want, they always subscribe to it. The media is getting wider coverage and the audience are pleased. That is why we call them sexual media.

Why we need better husbands in our societies.

Saeed kamalu Bako Family as an agent of socialization has helped a lot in nurturing better wives for there Husbands but has also failed mostly in creating better husbands in our society. Family attached too much importance in bringing up better wife than a Husband. You will here things like " gwara ki koya girki Dan gidan wani zaki" , " haka zakiyi in kinje gidan mutane ko" , " kefa uwar wasu ce nan bada dadewa ba" the parents must especially mother try by all means to teach her on how to be good , forgetting that she has a boy that will one day equally turn to be a husband. Why won't she then taught him how he can handle someone's daughter?  Culture make it to be the responsibility of the father, what then do you expect from someone who was not taught on how to do it to teach someone how to do it?  Why should I talk on this ? Through out the week i heard cases that has to do with domestic violence but most of them were the fault of the Husbands .
